The Friendly Colossus
Made in Unreal Engine 5
Synopsis
This two player game follows an archaeologist who has found a friendly colossus within some underground ruins. Together, the colossus and the archaeologist set out to solve puzzles in order to escape the ruins.

What I learned
-
I gained more practice with designing platforming areas in general to make sure it was possible yet could still be challenging.
-
This was the second time I was able to give modeling a shot.
Problems that arose and how they were solved
-
The Platforming, making sure it felt good was a problem. We solved it by tweaking around with the player controller until it felt natural and satisfying to move the character and make sure they could reach platforms.
-
Modeling was tough for me as it isn't one of my strong suits. A way this problem could be improved is to keep practicing with it.

Features
-
Puzzles that require both players cooperating in order to solve.
-
Platforming, especially with the colossus' hands acting as moveable platforms.
